Board games with the best odds
Jay Bean, Caesar’s Hall Manager agreed to talk to us about games with the best odds.
He said that many people don’t understand that table casino games have much better odds than slots. They are intimidated by the thoughts about the card sharks that they saw in Texas Hold'em television tournaments, so they choose the safe option: slot machines. They thereby render the casino a disservice.
“You bet on your favorite number,” Bean says, “the dealer spins the wheel, and if your number drops out, you win.”
If you bet only on Red and Black, then you have a 50 to 50 chance of winning. If red drops when you bet on it, you can double the size of the bet.
Although the choice of colors may seem simple to you, there is one small catch that enhances the casino's advantage: an extra zero on the reel. In American roulette there are two zeros on each reel.
If you feel lucky, choose one number. Of course, it will be difficult to win, but you will receive 36 to 1 payouts.
