how to assign the type of the soil to the foundation system, whether the footing was a mat or any other type, as I did not find it in ETABS v20

I was trying to take a section cut of a braced frame in ETABs. I drew my cut in elevation across the brace, but the section cut line shows up above and to the left of my elevation.
