What program can I use to burn a .gi file format to a DVD on a Mac with OS X?

I'm trying to burn a DVD using LoiLoFit for Everio but it stops during the encoding process.

Does anybody know if AVS Video Editor is compatible only with DVD - R and not with DVD + R? I ask this because the video DVD that I created with this program is not read by the DVD readers.

DVD Flick is not working. When the Finish button appears there is a second window showing "Buffering". Then, after the DVD pops-out, it doesn't do anything.
