I bought an IP camera from DX website and I'm having problems with it. I can't make a connection on my wireless network. After I changed the IP address using the IP Camera Tools, I tried to use ipconfig/all command to see the IP address but the last IP address is 169.254.217.146 and sub-mask is 255.255.0.0. What can I do? I'm using IP Camera Tools 7.2.27.

In order to connect properly the IP camera to your wireless network, type in the address bar of your browser the IP address of your router. You can find it in the user guide of your router. If you can't find it, try using 192.168.1.1, 192.168.0.1, or 192.168.2.1. If none of these work, I recommend you contact the manufacturer of your router. After you open the page of your router note down the Channel, Security Way (NONE, WEP), Authentication Type, encryption and open the IP Camera Tools. In the Wireless LAN Settings tab, fill up the provided fields and then click Submit:

If you have problems, I recommend you check the user guide of your IP camera. If you don't have a guide, you should find one if you access the web page of your device from DX website. Alternatively, you can contact the vendor and ask for instructions.
