I have a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit computer with 8 GB RAM, Quad Core AMD Phenom 3 3.4GHz and I received "Unable to activate DirectSound for selected device. DirectSoundCaptureCreate failed. HR=DSERR_NODRIVER. No sound driver is available for use" message. This software worked on a Windows Vista Home Premium laptop and a Windows XP computer. What can I do?

Make sure that your headphones and mic are plugged in and that they are in the correct ports (the headphones in the green port and the mic in the red one). Also, reinstall your audio drivers and download and install the latest version of DirectX. After that, go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Recording and make sure that the sound card is the default device and adjust the level from Properties > Level tab.
