You receive this error, because Windows doesn't recognize your webcam, or its drivers are corrupted. In order to fix it, right-click on the Computer/My Computer icon, select Manage and open Device Manager. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers and Imaging devices lists and look for the webcam. Once you locate it, right-click on its icon and select Uninstall. After that, reboot your computer, connect the device and click Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager. Windows will detect and install the webcam drivers automatically. If you still have issues, try using other webcam capture utility from Software Informer database.
