Alternative to Skype

Question

I'm currently using Skype. Before the update I played online video games with my friend using headphones (laptop speakers are not very good for game sounds). With headphones we could communicate and hear the game sounds clearly. Now with the new update we can hear and communicate through the headphones, but the game sounds come out through the laptop speakers, making it impossible to play the game. I contacted Skype and was told "Sorry there is nothing that can be done." I'm looking for an alternative to Skype to solve this problem. Please respond!

Skype is not a good solution for game chatting. I used it to play Aion with my fellow friends and we use TeamSpeak for this purpose. The application was created for thiskind of situations. If you have knowledge, you can set up a server in minutes or simply visit the tutorial FAQs available on the website. In a matter of minutes you will have a server up and running where you can chat privately with your friends and beside that, it offers full support for audio.

Well, I use Google talk and the quality is really great. Of course, it's very minimalistic but does the job quite well.
