Couldn't connect to IDEA Cryptobox.

I am Chief Engineer on a yacht equipped with IDEA-maintenance software on a server onboard.
After a complete electrical shutdown of the yacht in connection with getting lifted out of the water in a shipyard, we are now getting following error message when attempting to log on the system:

"Couldn't connect to IDEA cryptobox. Please contact your administrator"

What could be the error, and possible remedies?

Based on the information found on various websites, this software requires a dongle. Without the dongle, you won't have the possibility to run the application.

You can check for Sentinel or HASP drivers in the Device Manager. Go to Start > Run > devmgmt.msc. Make sure that all the items are listed without an yellow exclamation sign.

Secondly, reinstall the software for the dongle and then try launching the software. Check the LAN connection to see if you can reach the server.
