Website building information.

Question

I have a Windows Vista and Wamp server( localhost) and use it with WordPress. I have an Omni auction that I downloaded, and a couple of other downloads I wanted to upload to my Wamp server and build, but I cant open them. I click on every file & application and get nothing before & after I upload them to Wamp.

So, my question is how do I get the downloaded websites open to where I can build them, see them, so I can decide if I want to use them.

You can't just click on the items you have and see them. You actually need to unrar the packages or copy the whole folder in the HTDOCS folder inside the wamp's installation. For example, if you have a website called omni, copy the whole folder to the HTDOCS then start Wamp and access it using http://localhost/omni. If the folder contains database structures, use the readme or installation file to install the package in your database.
