How do I flash a phone for free?

I need to flash my phone from one carrier to another. The phone's type is: Galaxy Mega. Carrier is US Cellular. Can you please tell me what website and how to do this at little to no cost?

You can't flash the device to unlock it. This can be done through your IMEI and various information collected from the phone. It can't be done for free, through. If you visit a local phone service shop, they will unlock it for a small fee. It's cheap and it's done in minutes. I think there is no other way for this process.
