This is a common bug among Snapchat users and it has been reported over and over again. My advice is to uninstall then reinstall the application. After every operation, simply restart the phone. Additionally, use the following email address and send the issue to the support team: support@snapchat.com. Explain exactly what is wrong. I believe it should be fixed with the next update.
