IPv6 compatibility and FIPS / NIAP / CCE compliance.

Is cx_Oracle IPv6 compatible? Also, is cx_Oracle either FIPS, NIAP, or CCE compliant? Thank you for your time and assistance.

Yes, the cx_Oracle application is developed by and compatible with IPv6 and FIPS support, but the problem is that when compiled, the script gives errors related to IPv6. You might need to disable it by appending --disable_IPv6 at the startup script.

Sean / William, Thank you much for the reply. Do you happen to know what the FIPS 140-certificate number is or where I can get it? I also posted a question on this forum regarding the PPS, perhaps you might be able to assist with that inquiry also? Thanks again.
