My iPhone 5 is on "Emergency call" mode after many wrong password attempts. How could I recover data in this situation?

In order to recover the data, turn off the iPhone, hold down the Home button, and connect it to your computer using the USB cable. After that, wait for iTunes to recognize the device, and press OK, when you receive a message saying that the iPhone is in Recovery Mode and needs to be restored before you can use it. Finally, select Restore iPhone.

Recovering data? If you didn't backup any files on your iTunes or iCloud, I don't think you can get them back, unless you use some professional iOS data recovery software. Download one like iMyfone Data Recovery for iPhone for a free scan. Your important data can been retrieved easily.
