First you must remove the phone battery for like 20 - 30 seconds. Put it back in and press the Volume Up button and Power button at the same time until the Android logo pops up on the screen. You can use Volume Up/Down buttons to navigate the menu and select Wipe data/Factory Reset option from there. This will unlock your phone but it will delete all data you have on the phone (contacts, applications, etc.).
