Problem with the program's preference option.

Question

Why does the program reset the general preferences every few times I use it? Under File > General > Preferences, I uncheck the box that says to check the Ulead website every time the program starts, change the save, undo preferences, and more. I also uncheck the box to stop the splash page from showing. Yet the problem still comes back and the preferences are reset back to default. How can I permanently stop the program from resetting like this?

If you can't fix this problem, even after doing all the things mentioned, you probably are encountering an internal error of the application. To be noticed that you always use official sources to download and install programs. In this case, I strongly suggest that you perform a fresh install of the product. Also, it's a good idea to download PhotoImpact from the official website of the developer. This way you are sure that you are not installing a corrupt package.
