I changed the Google Photos Screensaver settings.

When I first noticed that I had this installed, I was able to see the file names. After I changed some settings the file names disappeared. I have tried without success every combination of settings to get it back. Can you help?

In order to fix the issue, I suggest you reset the application settings to default. Since it doesn't have such a feature, you will need to uninstall and reinstall it. To do that, go to Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a program, select the Google Photos Screensaver and press Uninstall. After that, visit the official web page, click the Download Google Photos Screensaver button and follow the provided instructions.
