In order to fix the issues, I suggest you remove the software from your computer and install it again. Also, you need to know that Google Photos Screensaver has been discontinued and it is no longer supported. Nowadays, you can use it through Picasa. If you want, you can delete the pictures after you send them to a web album. In case that you will need the files again, you can download them directly from that album.
