When do I use SigmaTel Audio software?

I have this program installed in my computer but I don't know when and how to use it?

This is actually the driver for your audio card. It is used to listen to music or hear any other sounds from games, applications, movies, etc. You may miss the ability to listen to sounds if you remove it.
