I need to update my audio drivers.

I have a Windows XP SP3 Dell Latitude D650 computer with the following audio configuration:

Driver Provider: Sigma Tel; Driver Date: 11/15/2004; Diver Version: 5.10.0.3952; Driver Signer: Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher.

I need to update the driver because I can't control the tone (Bass/Treble, Equalizer). The bass and treble are greyed out. Can you help?

In order to fix the issue, download the update released on November 3, 2011. Once you download it, press Windows + R key combination, type devmgmt.msc and click OK. Expand the sound, video and game controllers list, right-click on the audio driver and select Update Driver Software. Use the Browse option to navigate to the downloaded package, select the driver and install it following the on-screen instructions. If you still have problems, use the contact information from the official web page to get in touch with the support team. Alternatively, try controlling the sound on your computer using a utility from Software Informer database.
