Skype keeps crashing.

I never had problems with Skype but I'm dealing one now. When I'm putting the webcam or when I want to make a voice call, the program is crashing. This happens after I updated to the new version of Skype 5.3.1. What can I do? My webcam is compatible and it works with other chat programs. The problem is not caused by my webcam. I tried everything. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the software.

In order to fix the issue remove the software from your computer (Control Panel > Uninstall a program) and run a registry cleaner from Software Informer database to make sure that there are no leftover registry keys in your system. After that, reboot your computer and download and install the latest version of the program directly from the official web page. Also, make sure that your security program and Windows Firewall are not blocking the software.
