Cannot open links when I double click them. What is the problem?

Why do I get an error when I click on a link? How can I correct this? "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your systems administrator". Please advise.

This is a known error and it has been handled by Microsoft Support. Visit the support page with this error and download the FixIt application. Run it and follow the on-screen instructions. The application will fix the error.

Manual way involves in resetting the options of Internet Explorer. Open Internet Explorer and go to Tool > Internet Options > Advanced. Click on both reset buttons and restart the browser and the Outlook application then you can click on links.
