EC2 is a program developed by HCL Infosystems Limited that will help you recover your data in case of system crash, system corruption by viruses, spyware or Trojans, accidental formatting of any of the hard disk partitions, corruption of registry files and folders, blue screen errors, system unstability after patch updates, and so on. It creates a backup on a component embedded in the hardware of HCL computers that can be restored anytime you want. All you need to do is to access the official web page and to select HCL EC2 Software from the Select Product Model/System Version drop-down list. Click OK, download the XP version, save the file to your PC, and install it following the on-screen instructions. After that, reboot the computer, right-click the program's icon from System Tray and select Take snapshot. Wait several seconds until the process completes and restart the PC. After that, once you have problems, you can restore the system by right-clicking the icon from System Tray and selecting the Restore option. If you can't access Windows, you need to reboot the PC and to press the Home button of your laptop. This will take you to the HCL EC2 console from where you can restore the PC. For further information, I recommend that you contact the support team.
