Which version of Visual Sourcesafe is compatible with Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 in Windows 7 32bit?

Microsoft Visual SourceSafe is a product that was compatible with Visual Studio 2005. There is an update available for the product and it's available for WIndows 7 32bit but if you use it with Visual Studio 2012 you will have no support at all. Even Visual Studio 2008 has major problems regarding SourceSafe.
