Why does Messenger Plus for Skype does not work with the new Skype version?

Messenger Plus needs updating due to Skype's update. I know that there're users from the Messenger Plus forums who are complaining about this issue. You will need to wait for an update regarding Messenger Plus because in the current state Skype is not able to detect it.
