Avira Web Protection is disabled.

I want to reactivate Avira Web Protection. How can I do that?

In order to enable web protection you need to go to Control panel > Programs and features/ Add&Remove Programs > select Avira and click change > Modify and uncheck AntiVir Web Protection, then click Next and restart your computer. Once you come back to desktop, repeat the procedure and check the module and again restart the computer. Web protection will be activated upon reboot.

Can somebody please tell me why Avira makes it so hard for us to re-enable Web Protection? There should just be a check box for us to activate or deactivate this feature!

To reactivate Avira Web Protection, open the Avira Free Antivirus program, go to the 'Protection' tab, and select 'Web Protection'. You can then enable or disable the feature.
