Is it compatible with Avira Browser Safety?

Is the newer version of Free Antivirus compatible with Avira Browser Safety that I already installed when I had the older version of the antivirus? Or do they exclude functionality of each other, and I have to install the one that comes with the antivirus?

The Avira Browser Safety is an independent toolbar that works in Chrome, Firefox and Opera. It works regardless of the installed antivirus. Yes, the applications should be compatible one with each other, however, they don't exclude functionality. You can have the one from the official page or the one from the Antivirus. It's basically the same thing.
