How do I change the default style so when I paste and match style it doesn't appear as Times?

When I Paste and Match Style, it seems that no matter what I do, it always comes in as Times 12, a style I never use. I would like to change this behavior so it appears in a sans serif font like Helvetica

To change the default style when pasting and matching in Write 2 for Mac, go to Preferences > Appearance > Default font and select Helvetica or any other sans-serif font that you prefer.
