First, you will need to download the PC Suite application and install it accordingly. Once the installation is finished (the whole process is automated) a computer restart will be requested. After you perform the restart and return to desktop, plug the cable to phone's port and the other side to one of the PC's USB port. The application will detect the phone, install its corresponding drivers and it will make it available on the My Computer and in the application. Please notice that if you want additional modules (such as firmware update, media convert) you will need to download additional files by clicking the corresponding section found in the main interface of the PC Suite.
