My Viber friend's online status suddenly changed from "last seen yesterday at 8:06PM" to "last seen February 13" which is a couple of days earlier. What is going on? Does someone have an explanation to this?

Same thing happens to me with just one contact. It says last seen a month ago but I've talked to them after that date. Is it a bug from Viber or have they deactivated their account ?
