Why the system upgrade failed and how can I restore it?

Lenovo 1000 Android died during the upgrade. The screen won't turn on.

Sometimes firmware upgrade fail because of a couple of reasons:

  • power surge and the PC or the device turned off
  • the firmware is wrong
  • the firmware is corrupted.

You should use the same application for upgrade to restore the stock firmware to your Android phone. Access the following link to learn how to restore to stock firmware if the phone is dead.
