Why did the Sniffy program time out?

I was able to get Sniffy all the way to VR-35, was about to get to VR-50 when the program timed out on me. I can't find a way to save the data, so I might lose all my work and progress. This is distressing to me, is there any way to wake Sniffy back up so I can put him back on the reinforcement schedule?

Sniffy times out automatically based on the settings you choose or it can be triggered automatically from the Expriment menu. I've just used a test from the available samples and tried to make Sniffy time out automatically, but it didn't happen, instead I selected the option mentioned earlier and it works properly.

I recommend checking the FAQ file that's installed next to the program's installation.
