As far as I know, MySpaceIM has been discontinued and it hasn't received any updates since 2009, so the service may be down permanently.
You could check to see if your firewall isn't blocking the installer or temporarily stop your proxy (in case you were using one), but honestly, I don't think that it will fix things. The problem seems to originate from MySpaceIM itself and not from your PC or Internet connection.
