Information about ComproDTV 4.5.7.74.

I have had this ComproDTV 4.5.7.74 version installed since 09082015 and works beautifully except impossible to record as the outdated Ulead 8.5 needs replacing as this program will not open in either Windows 10 or Windows 7. Is there any way around this problem?
