Need help to download or install.

Question

I have Micrografx Windows Draw6 on CDs. I now have a Windows 7 computer and would like to install Draw6 on the new computer. Is this possible or do I need to download a more recent version? I would hate to lose some of the applications previously enjoyed - such a making business cards and brochures.

This application is twelve years old which means that compatibility with newer versions of Windows doesn't exist anymore making it impossible to install it unless you use a virtual machine with Windows XP installed on it.

You can do this with the help of VirtualBox: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

There is also a tutorial for you to check out to learn how to use it. Once you have a virtual machine up and running, Windows Draw can be used as well.
