Will Sail Sim 5 work when I upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 in a few weeks time?
It's impossible to say if the game will work on Windows 10 or not. However, if it worked on 7, there is a big chance it will work on Windows 10 as well. Just make sure to install the latest drivers for your components, and most important the DirectX 9.0c. Without it, the game won't run properly, because the game uses DirectX 9 instead of the available 12 that comes with Windows 10.
Hi Alex, and thanks for your answer, which was great. Especially for giving me the link for DirectX 9.0c.I presume Windows 10 will not be affected by my installing the above over Directx 12
