In some cases, even if you install the application normally and appears as a functional device in Device Manager, the software will simply refuse to load because of compatibility. This happened a number of times for other apps with drivers as well, when everything installed properly, but in the end the app refused to work.
I strongly recommend you re-check the application and its installation status, then disable Driver Enforcement using: Start > Settings > Update and Recovery > Recovery > Advanced Startup > Restart > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Press key 7 > Restart.
