This is impossible to predict or say. It's unknown whether Snapchat will allow this procedure in the future or not. The best way is to stay in touch with future updates, however, as a personal opinion this feature won't be possible. Once a username is forgotten, disabled, banned, there won't be a way to recover it or change it.
