This is a known issue with Windows 10. Basically, you have to uninstall the video drivers and then access the Device Manager (Start > Run > devmgmt.msc) and manually update the driver through the Windows Update. You need to have a working Internet connection in order to download the latest certified updates for you graphics card and then the brightness will work normally.
Make sure you also install the drivers for the Function keys for your device.
