At some point, Windows operating systems save important parts of the software and the system for restoration in cases like yours. I suggest that you should restart your computer and when POST-BOOT comes, press F8 quickly until a menu with many options will appear. On that list, choose “Last Known Good configuration that worked” and let Windows restore important parts that are missing. This rule does not apply every time and if your software was lucky enough to be on the list of saved applications, then you will have your application restored.
Alternatively, you can perform a fresh installation of the software if you have the install CD or the setup package stored on your computer.
