I recently re-installed BMS 3.3 software suite on a Windows 7 Enterprise computer. After installation, I tried to connect to my PABX database but all I get is an error message that states that "Cannot connect to DB". What might be wrong?
When you receive a message like the one above, then you have to do the following:
(Recommended) Check the database connection options. In most of the cases, the erros are caused by misplacing characters from username, database IP, etc.
Use Windows Firewall and turn it off or add the software through the Firewall.
Contact the database maintainer of PABX because there could be a problem on their end.
