Quicktime Player is the solution provided by the Apple Corporation for Mac and Windows operating system. The video player is released for computers running Mac and it's mostly used as an accessory to their operating system. The software acts as a sophisticated video player and a multimedia platform with Internet streaming possibilities. To find more, access the official website. If you install additional codecs (Windows only), then the software will also have the capability of playing Blu-ray files and discs.

Quick Time player is the media player of Apple which can be used to play DVD, CD, MOV and other common media formats. With some other plugins, it can also play WMV, MP4 and other Microsoft formats. But it has nothing to do with Blu-ray. And no plugin or codec can help with this.
To solve this problem, you have to install another 3rd party software Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player, the first commercial Blu-ray software to make BD available on Mac.
