SIM information for Viber.

I have a post paid account number/SIM that was banned on Viber. Does it mean that I have to change my number or just the SIM with the same number?

You will need to change the SIM card with the number. To do this, simply visit your carrier's shop and request a number change or buy another SIM card with another number, because there is no way to unban the account once it's blocked by Viber company.
