Does Viber still work if SIM was deactivated?

So I have deactivated my SIM, but I saw through someone's phone that I was online and could be called. Well there's 2 numbers my old one (which I deactivated) and another one. Is it still functioning because of the 2nd number?

It doesn't matter if your SIM was deactivated as long as it's in your phone and Viber is registered. If you delete the application, then you will have to register again, but your account will be active for as long as the app isn't deleted from phone or SIM card removed.
