Can the Viber software be installed and run nn an Android-based tablet without a SIM card?

So you cant then. The phone used in the previous answer needs a sim meaning you can't use Viber without a sim. I just tried it with a landline and it doesn't work.

I have successfully installed now whatsapp on my Asus tablet MemoPad HD 7 ( using manually downloaded apk from this page https://www.whatsapp.com/android/ ), which is without simcard, and I have been using my regular cell phone to get the sms verification. But because I couldn't enter nowhere this code on the tablet, I've been typing v.whatsapp.com/mycode on my firefox for tablet, and click enter, and firefox immediatelly transfered that to whatsapp aplication and verification was successfull :D

once you activate viber using another phone, that viber account on that other phone gets deleted automatically

I down loarded the viber app to my samsung (simm less) tab and installed.I used hots pot of samsung m 10 phone. But verification sms did not come .several times resend but not work.

I successfully installed Viber on two gadgets, my iphone and my android tablet, working simultaneously.

I tried installing it in my android Huawei fone without a SIM, but the viber in my iphone got deleted. So I stopped tyring.

I think only two gadgets can work with one Viber account.
