How to watch the video from the Dropbox link shared by a friend on my cellphone?

When a friend shared a link from his Dropbox (.mp4 format), I can't directly watch the video. I have to download the file and download some kind of application for that format, then run the app to watch the video. It is too complicated process. I believe WeChat featured convenient ways for users. So I wonder what is the way? Or will WeChat improve this feature in the short future?

There is no possibility to watch the video directly unless the video is recorded through WeChat. I don't think this function will be available in the near future. However, the only possibility remains to actually download the MP4 file and then use the built-in video player to play the file on your phone because playback through WeChat is not possible.
