Does strongvaults uninstall app work?

Please read on this post to force your unwanted StrongVault and/or other bloatware to uninstall. 

I found that MS Fix-It worked. But, there where two programs in Fix-It program under the name of strong-vault only one of them could be successfully installed. 

... [Start] > Type in [Strong Vault App] > Right click on the icon ... related folders > Run MicrosoftFixit > Choose [Uninstall] > It's gone finally:)

I was able to remove this app using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. 

IT WILL NOT UNSTALL AS YOU HAVE IT LOCKED

I was having problems doing an uninstall for Strongvault Backup System. I found the answer ... Control Panel and Select Uninstall, Go to Strongvault Backup System and click ...

I've tried multiple times to use Microsoft's Fix it program, and it is not working... 

Im useing the "fix it" but its not removeing it for me what else can be done? 

I,too;cannot uninstall this lousy product!! Going to the control panel and clicking "uninstall" does not work on this lousy no good product!I will continue until it is gone from my pc! 

Many thanks for the Microsoft "fixit" solution for it removed Strongvault virus. Thanks too to the poster who described the "clock" app which might have imported the strongvault virus. 

I'm trying to use the microsoft fix it link but it keeps saying that the trouble shooter is invalid or expired. Any other tips?

This program worked beautifully. It found and deleted a program called strongvault which was causing a lot of problems and not showing up for being able to uninstall. 

I was also able to uninstall with Fix-It. Thank goodness. I'm pretty sure I picked up this malware from a FreeCorder toolbar download. 

i got hit with it after installling a netgear wireless adaptor driver, after countless crap programs i found this site, also thank cliff your a life (and computer) saver.

As above, I went to Microsoft, downloaded Fix It and strong vault is gone. I don't know what it was doing or what Fix It did, but that puppy is gone. My computer seems faster and smoother now, too. ...
