What's up?? iPad with iOS 5.1 reads docx and doc files PERFECTLY (btw, much better than latest Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5).
There is a apps package called "Documents to go".
It's available for most PDAs including the IPAD..
Search your app. section...I saw it there when I helped a friend find it recently.
