Fine Print 5.60 and compatibility with Windows 8.1

I have a copy of Fine Print V5.6, which I have been using on a Windows XP machine. I have recently upgraded to a new computer that is running Windows 8.1. On attempting to load the above program,I receive an incompatibility issue. Followed the available compatibility feature, but without success. The computer is a Sony Vaio, 64bit, Windows 8.1.

The version you have is not compatible with Windows 8.1. The latest release, however, is compatible with all the operating systems including Windows 7 or Windows 8. The version number for the program reached 8.15. Visit the website to obtain the new package that can be installed in Windows 8.1.

There is no other way for version 5.60 to install it in Windows 8 or 8.1.
