According to the Manual of the latest version of the product (version 3), it seems that program is developed to run on Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 200 and Windows XP. Because it hasn't received any updates in a long time, it's possible that you won't be able to run in on Windows 8. However, you can use the compatibility troubleshooter. To do this, swipe from the right side of the screen and in the search bar type compatibility troubleshooter. Open the resulted service and follow the instruction provided in order to install WQW Link on Windows 8.
