You can update the Micromax A47 Bolt phone using the OTA (Over The Air) method. Since there is no other tool to updated it, this remains the only possible way. First connect to a wireless network and make sure the phone is charged up to 85 %. Once connected, go to Settings > About device > Software Update. Register if it asks you then perform a search. In case an update is available apply it and follow the instructions when prompted and that's it. The phone should be updated.
